Pour House at Machinery Hall serves American Gastropub cuisine in a comfortable, industrial rustic atmosphere located in the newly rebuilt “Machinery Hall” in Chillicothe’s historic downtown. Named in part for its location in the historic Machinery Hall built in 1881, guests will immediately feel the charm and warmth of the Pour House when they walk in the door.  The Pour House at Machinery Hall is a full service gastropub bar and restaurant that serves high-end beverages and food and features live entertainment.  We offer 30 beers on tap, premium spirits, and a full service dining experience.  The Pour House at Machinery Hall is the perfect gathering place when you crave live entertainment, premium drinks, food that warms the spirit and time enjoyed with friends and family.

The Floor Manager is responsible for supporting the management of the entire restaurant’s operations.  The Floor Manager is also responsible to meet performance and profit goals during any given shift. The Floor Manager is responsible to manage and oversee all safety processes within the restaurant. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader while still acting as a team player; always willing to roll up his or her sleeves to help wherever is needed.  The candidate shall be highly motivated to dedicate his/her trade to perfection.  The Floor Manager will oversee the operations of any employee on the clock.


  • Prioritize customer service at all times and genuinely apply it to all guest interactions.
  • Supervise the day-to-day task assignment and manage performance of hourly employees. This includes recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, managing performance, and administering progressive discipline.
  • Oversee the completion of duties by hourly employees.
  • Ensure proper training and training compliance of all hourly employees.
  • Oversee cash management procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy of weekly payroll, which includes the proper editing of timecards when necessary, using the appropriate charge codes and weekly submission.
  • Respond in a timely manner to any product recall and follow established processes.
  • Control inventory level by checking in all external vendors and ensuring the delivery is accurate. Keep open line of communication with vendors to ensure the store’s needs are met.
  • Keep up to date logs and report all activities in the restaurant.
  • Ensure execution of established security, quality and restaurant operations policies, procedures and practices listed in training materials and other publications.
  • Manage all safety programs and ensure proper execution and compliance. Report and document all customer and employee incidences in the appropriate time frame.
  • Value all employees through celebration and recognition.
