Treasury Management Product Operations Leader

SUMMARY:

The Treasury Management (TM) Product Operations Leader is a hands on position that requires daily customer contact as well as help with developing and implementing TM products, processes and operational changes. This position will be responsible for client implementations, customer onboarding, documentation completion and accuracy as well as general TM customer support. This is a customer intense role that is focused on providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. This position is both hands on with customers and responsible for product/process execution.

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; or minimum of five years banking experience in Treasury Management, Branch Operations and/or Product Management.
  • At least two years of commercial calling experience in a bank either on the Retail platform or the Commercial platform.
  • Strong knowledge of payment systems, depository products and operational delivery within a financial institution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare TM documents, agreements and implement TM product/services for new and existing customers.
  • Develop and execute sales and product training for new and current TM Officers.
  • Responsible for preparing sales tools, such as presentations, proposals and proformas to support the TM Offer Sales Officers.
  • Preform all duties in accordance with prescribed security and regulatory guidelines. Ensure full compliance with the Bank’s Information Security Policies and Procedures.
  • Responsible for TM Commercial sweep set ups, management and deletion of these accounts. Coach and train team on sweep product and processes.
  • Successfully resolve customer issues. This includes operational issues, product issues or customer onboarding. This position will require hands on customer resolution and customer communication. This will be a position that requires a high level of customer interaction.
  • This position will require a high level involvement and possible travel in future acquisitions.
  • Conduct customer trainings and installations throughout footprint, in person and via webinar. As appropriate, attend sophisticated and complex calls with TM Sales Officers.
  • Set up customer with proper billing and ensure all customer billing is set up accurately. Manage rate plans, account waives and customer fees.
  • Properly inform and implement security enhancements to customers’ implementations; Trusteer, token, etc.
  • Know and understand all of the current and future TM Products offered.
  • Be compliant with audit, government regulations and bank policies. Keep informed of system enhancements and updates.
  • Deliver product and revenue reports to Senior Management on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, as requested.
  • Responsible for monitoring all exception priced or waived accounts. This includes obtaining the appropriate market signoff and maintaining the files.
  • Responsible for sending out alerts and notifying the sales officers of operational problems affecting customers within the TM products.
  • Responsible for ensuring the safety and soundness of TM functions or customer activity based upon the Bank’s risk management policy and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the bank’s policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
