This is a Full-time position in Bainbridge, OH posted January 10, 2018.

Lighthouse Youth & Family Services has full-time Youth Worker positions available at Paint Creek, our residential treatment facility located in southeastern Bainbridge, Ohio (Ross County). Paint Creek provides 24/7 rehabilitative residential treatment to adolescent males involved in the juvenile justice system. Now hiring for first shift days (rotating shift) and also 3rd shift overnight.

Youth Worker (DAYS) 7:00am -3:00pm, 3:00p-11:00pm
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide positive intervention treatment while ensuring the health and safety of all residents.
- Maintain appropriate supervision levels at all times.
- Engage residents in positive social interactions and help them make progress towards meeting individual service plan goals.
- Document all treatment intervention services in a daily progress note.
- Accurately prepare medications for residents to self-administer at scheduled dosage times.

- High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- LCDC -I or LCDC-II professional license preferred.
- Bilingual and/or Sign Language proficiency a plus.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule

Youth Worker (NIGHTS) This position is 3rd shift, 11:00pm-7:00am.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and supervision to youth while maintaining appropriate supervision levels at all times.
- Maintain consistent program schedule including following established guidelines for wake & sleep times.
- Perform bed checks on a consistent interval frequency as outlined in program guidelines to ensure all residents are accounted for at all times.
- Maintain safety and security of facility and residents.
- Participate on assigned teams to support facilities operations (restocking supplies, preparing for incoming residents, custodial/maintenance, kitchen support, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
